Welcome to the official Valley County Republican Central Committee web page. The core of this politically-minded volunteer group is the Precinct Committeemen who are elected by the registered members of the Republican Party in Valley County.
We meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Valley County emergency operations center on Spring Street in Cascade.

Our Core Values
Problems should be solved as close to the level at which they originate as possible. Prosperity is highest when power is decentralized and solutions are kept local.
A free society cannot survive as a republic without a broad program of general education. As they are closer to the children, school boards and communities are more capable of understanding and addressing the unique needs of their students than state governments. Competition improves the quality of schools.
The highest level of prosperity occurs when there is a free-market economy and minimum of government regulations. Proper protection of private property rights establishes sound incentive structures that lead to strong economic growth. Competition always increases quality and lowers costs.
The unborn should be protected. Birth to a married man and woman provides children the best chance for success in life.
Private property is an essential, foundational element of liberty. Life and liberty are secure only so long as the right to property is secure.
The family is the central and fundamental unit of society. Because the core unit which determines the strength of any society is the family, the government should foster and protect its integrity.
The only reliable basis for sound government and just human relations is Natural Law. The people are the sovereign authorities and source of all legitimate governmental powers.
A system of checks and balances should be used to prevent the abuse of power. The proper role of government is defensive, not offensive—appropriately using force to defend the God-given, inalienable rights.
The marketplace of ideas should be protected. Religious freedom must be guaranteed to every peaceful individual and community.
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.
